Commercial heating and Energy Efficiency

Commercial buildings consume vast quantities of energy and any reduction is going to result in big savings in running costs.
Unlike domestic dwellings they have much larger boilers and hot water systems.
A 10% reduction in running cost would save a building with an annual energy bill of 100,000 euro, would save 10,000 euro. The measures required may only cost 3-5000 euro and this is a 6 month payback.
A site meeting and an assessment with clear instructions on just how to use the systems could save 5% or 5000 on every 100,000 spent on energy.
For example, a 300kw gas boiler, non condensing type, loses approx 150 euros a week out the flue, due to efficiency loss. This equates 0.3 tonnes of CO2
We start by surveying the plantrooms and the building heating controls.
We draft a report and then discuss the measures that will result in lower running costs.
We also can draft a maintenance plan to reduce callouts and repairs.
